The best candidate for BB Glow treatments is someone with healthy skin free of open wounds. BB Glow is not recommended for anyone with inflammatory skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should also avoid this treatment.
If you have a client with particularly sensitive skin, it’s a good idea to test a small patch of skin on the back of the neck or wrist before going for the full facial treatment.
What is the treatment process like?
The entire BB Glow process takes two to three hours. First, the skin is cleansed and exfoliated. Next, you’ll numb the face for at least 20 minutes to ease discomfort during the treatment. Then, the premixed BB cream is microneedled into the skin. Once the microneedling process is finished, you’ll apply a hyaluronic mask to seal in the BB cream and provide added hydration.
The recovery is minimal with mild redness and dryness for up to a couple of days after the treatment is finished. Clients shouldn’t wash their face for 24 hours, and they’ll want to avoid retinol or retin-A products for a week.

Are there any downsides to BB Glow treatments?
